Description: The address coverage is a point coverage representing the individual addresses for Butte County which have been derived from digital and hardcopy sources as well as verified by field checks. All new address are submitted by local agencies and entered into the database as well as given a relative point location within the associated parcel. Points of addresses are not absolute and are placed within a designated parcel.

Description: The taxparcl feature class is a polygon feature class representing the individual parcels for Butte County which was derived from assessor map pages in digital and hardcopy formats. All new parcels are entered from assessor CAD pages registered to orthorectified imagery.
Description: BCAG, in coordination with local agency members, California State University-Chico, and the University of California at Davis, developed the Butte County region’s first land use allocation model for the purpose of assisting in preparing the forecasted development pattern for BCAG’s 2012 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) and Sustainable Communities Strategy (SCS). The model was used by BCAG in developing three distinctive land use allocation scenarios to be analyzed as part of the 2012 MTP/SCS. TAZ zones where used to aggregate the final allocation for use in Butte County's transportation model.
